The family of a 72-year-old patient who died at Larnaca General Hospital has filed complaints regarding “unacceptable conditions of care” which they claim contributed to her death. In their complaint, they state that the patient was admitted with sepsis, but the care she received was inadequate, resulting in her not receiving her medication and the water bottle beside her being sealed after her death. These complaints come at a time when there are other reports of problems at the hospital, including a non-functioning sterilization oven.
