Espionage Case: Woman Allegedly at the Top of Spy Network

An investigation is underway regarding an espionage case within the Armed Forces, focusing on a 54-year-old squadron leader of the Air Force. Authorities believe the spy network operates with a pyramidal structure, with a key woman at the top, not the squadron leader himself. This woman is alleged to have recruited the squadron leader and persuaded him to leak state secrets. She has been identified as being present at a meeting between the squadron leader and a Chinese spy in 2025, and authorities are investigating the profile of the Chinese agent, who reportedly has an American surname. Furthermore, deleted files were recovered from an encrypted mobile phone used by the squadron leader, and meetings between him and the Chinese agent in central Athens have been recorded, with the presence of a third person. Payments to the squadron leader are said to have been made through an encrypted application.
