Erhurman Says He Has Not Received Proposals from Christodoulides

"Perhaps there are (proposals). But for the time being, I have not received any proposals. If they come, I will not hide them from the public, I will share them," Tufan Erhurman stated when asked by the website “Haber Kibris” to comment on reports in Greek Cypriot media that President Christodoulides, wishing to maintain dialogue with the Turkish Cypriot leader, Tufan Erhurman, wants to discuss two new initiatives with him concerning unilateral measures for the benefit of Turkish Cypriots. “Haber Kibris” cites a report from KYPE stating that Nikos Christodoulides does not want to create tension between himself and the Turkish Cypriot leader and therefore has requested and is awaiting the opinion of Mr. Erhurman before announcing two unilateral measures for the benefit of Turkish Cypriots related to the fields of health and the economy. “Haber” Kibris reports that it raised the issue with Tufan Erhurman, who replied that he had not received any proposals and would publicize them when he did.
