Ο Πρόεδρος της ΔΗΠΑ δεν θα είναι υποψήφιος στις επικείμενες βουλευτικές εκλογές σηματοδοτώντας με αυτό τον τρόπο το τέλος μιας μακράς περιόδους παρουσίας του στα έδρανα της Βουλής.
Την απόφασή του ανακοίνωσε ενώπιον Πολιτικού Γραφείου της ΔΗΠΑ.
Αύριο θα παραθέσει διάσκεψη τύπου στα στα κεντρικά γραφεία της Παράταξης, όπου θα ανακοινώσει τα ονόματα των υποψηφίων για τις επικείμενες βουλευτικές εκλογές, ενώ θα μιλήσει και για την απόφασή του.
