Doctors in the Occupied Territories on 24-Hour Strike - Protest Working Conditions

Doctors in the occupied territories are going on a 24-hour strike today, protesting their working conditions and the non-fulfillment of their demands. The strike has disrupted all regular health services, with the exception of emergencies and certain critical units. Doctors are demanding the conversion of their contracts into permanent positions, improved leave and working conditions, and strengthening public health against the funding of private hospitals. The TIP-İŞ trade union is holding a press conference today at the Oncology Center in occupied Nicosia.
