Direct Democracy: Election Process Clean, According to Committee Appointed by… Themselves

Direct Democracy Cyprus announced that the Election Committee, established to examine the objection submitted on March 16, 2026, by Aristophanes Avraam, Adam Christodoulou, and Lellos Iordanou regarding the candidate selection process for the “Direct Democracy Cyprus” party, found nothing objectionable in the process. The committee examined evidence and found no technical malfunction of the voting platform, security breach, data loss, double voting, use of multiple accounts, or participation of unregistered users. It also verified that the voting results are accurate and have not been altered. The committee reviewed the objection filed by Aristophanes Avraam, Adam Christodoulou, and Lellos Iordanou, but concluded that the process was valid. The examination focused on the proper functioning of the Agorà digital platform, voter identification, and the integrity of the results. Specifically, the committee independently verified the raw data of the vote and confirmed that the recorded results fully agree with those presented by the system. This suggests that the voting process was transparent and reliable.
