DIKO Leader: Immediate Democracy Has Not Denied My Post About Candidates with Criminal Cases

The President of DIKO, Nikolas Papadopoulos, stated that Immediate Democracy has not denied his post regarding three of its parliamentary candidates who are involved in criminal cases. According to the post, one candidate was arrested for drug trafficking in the occupied territories, another is under investigation for fraud, and a third is accused of defrauding investors. Mr. Papadopoulos emphasized that a party's candidates should be role models for society and that the next Parliament will deal with issues such as organized crime and fraud. He also stated that he has not yet received a letter from the Ministry of Interior requesting further information regarding his post.
