The Dacia Sandriders team achieved a historic victory in the 2026 Dakar Rally, the world's most demanding endurance race. Nasser Al-Attiyah and Fabian Lurquin completed the race with a lead of almost ten minutes over their closest competitors, confirming the maturity of Dacia's program in the FIA World Rally-Raid Championship. The 2026 Dakar Rally lasted 13 days, covering 7,976 kilometers, with 4,809 kilometers in timed special stages in Saudi Arabia. Dacia Sandriders demonstrated a steady pace, two stage wins, and remarkable consistency. All four of the team's crews managed to finish the race, highlighting the reliability of the racing car and the excellent organization of the team. This victory marks Al-Attiyah's sixth in the Dakar Rally and Lurquin's first.
