Cyprus Security at the Forefront of Dendias' Talks in London

Greek Defense Minister Nikos Dendias met with his British counterpart, John Healey, in London to discuss geopolitical challenges, with a focus on the Eastern Mediterranean and developments in the Middle East, Iran, Lebanon, and Ukraine. Particular reference was made to the security of Cyprus, with mutual interest from Greece and the United Kingdom. The two ministers also discussed strengthening defense cooperation, innovation, and new technologies, as well as the importance of ensuring maritime communication routes. Dendias informed Healey about Athens' initiatives in the field of security and cooperation with Bulgaria. Finally, he assured that there is currently no intention to send a Greek ship to the Strait of Hormuz.
