Axios: Netanyahu and Trump Planned Joint Attack on Iran Since December – What Changed the President’s Plans and Didn’t Order Strikes on Jan. 14

According to Axios, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and then-US President Donald Trump began discussing a joint attack on Iran as early as December. The initial date for the attack was set for May, but was influenced by the regime’s suppression of protesters in Iran. Trump, although on the verge of ordering strikes on January 14th, decided to bolster military presence in the region and initiate negotiations with Iran, without these being merely a deception tactic. The negotiations reached a deadlock, as Iran rejected US proposals regarding nuclear fuel, ballistic missiles, and support for terrorist groups.
