Australia Evacuates Diplomats' Families from Israel and Lebanon

Australia has ordered the evacuation of families of its diplomats from Israel and Lebanon due to the deteriorating security situation in the Middle East. The Foreign Ministry advises Australian citizens in Israel to consider leaving, while warning of the unpredictable situation and the risk of military conflict in the region. Similar measures have been taken for families of diplomats in Jordan, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates. Other countries, such as the US, Poland, and Sweden, have also issued instructions for the evacuation of personnel and citizens from the area. Cyprus has issued a travel advisory against travel to Iran and a recommendation for caution in Lebanon.
