Adrian Golemis has become the first Greek astronaut selected by ESA for training. His training will begin in Cologne, Germany in April 2026 and will last until October. Golemis's selection marks a significant step in strengthening Greece's presence in the field of space research and technology, as well as the country's participation in international space missions. The Minister of Digital Governance, Dimitris Papastergiou, emphasized that Golemis's selection is a symbol of the new era for Greece in Space and is linked to the "National Micro-Satellite Program."
