12.2% Increase in Tourist Arrivals to Cyprus in 2025

Cyprus experienced a significant surge in tourism in 2025, with total arrivals reaching 4,534,073, a 12.2% increase compared to 2024. This growth was mirrored in the outbound travel of Cypriot residents. December 2025 saw 156,959 arrivals, marking an 18.0% rise from December 2024. Israel, the United Kingdom, Poland, Germany, and Greece were the primary sources of tourists. Regarding the purpose of travel, the majority of tourists (56.4%) visited Cyprus for holidays, while 32.0% came to visit friends or relatives, and 11.3% for business reasons. Simultaneously, outbound travel by Cypriot residents increased by 14.9% in December, with Greece remaining the most popular destination.
