Ιδιωτικές ποινικές διώξεις σε 5 πρόσωπα για την υπόθεση Θανάση Νικολάου

Private criminal prosecutions were filed against five individuals, including forensic pathologist Panikos Stavrianos and four former police officers, concerning the death of ethnic policeman Thanasis Nikolaou on 29 September 2005. The state had not pursued charges due to insufficient evidence, but the family opted for private prosecutions. The indictment contains 38 charges, such as conspiracy to obstruct justice. It was filed by family lawyers Sava Matsa and Niko Kliridis at the Regional Court of Lefkosia.
