In a touching expression of tribute and memory, around 100 runners ran 25 kilometers from the Cape Greco camp to the Avgorou cemetery, in memory of 23-year-old Cyprian Papaiwanno, who lost his life in the tragic train accident in Tempi. During the run, they shouted slogans, expressing their pain and anger. Cyprian, a law student with a particular aptitude for Byzantine Music and a former soldier of the Commando Forces, chose the fateful train for his return to Athens, leaving behind a grieving family and friends. His family, relatives and friends said goodbye to him at the cemetery, keeping his memory alive.
