Christodoulides – Erhurman: Meeting Without Concrete Developments but with Continued Dialogue

The meeting between the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, and the Turkish Cypriot leader, Tufan Erhurman, within the framework of efforts for the Cyprus issue has concluded. The meeting, lasting approximately one and a half hours, did not yield concrete developments, however, the two leaders agreed to maintain open dialogue and schedule a new meeting in the near future. President Christodoulides will request a meeting with the United Nations Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, and will convene the National Council to inform the political parties about the current data and the next steps.
