63-Year-Old Arrested in Limassol Following European Arrest Warrant

A 63-year-old man was arrested in Limassol this morning following a European Arrest Warrant issued by Greek authorities. The man had been sentenced to a lengthy prison term in Greece for drug-related offenses. The arrest was made by Cypriot authorities and he is expected to appear before the Limassol District Court to begin the extradition process to Greece to serve his sentence. The extradition process will be decided by the court, considering the legal agreements between Greece and Cyprus.
