Demosthenous Murder: 28-Year-Old Remains in Custody

The 28-year-old accused in the case of Stavros Demosthenous' murder will remain in custody until April 29th, as decided by the Limassol Criminal Court. The court rejected the defense lawyer's request for release with restrictive conditions, as it believes there is a possibility of conviction. The accused is alleged to have helped the perpetrators escape by car after the murder. Four other accused remain in custody at the Central Prisons, while a 51-year-old, whose genetic material was found in a stolen vehicle used to monitor the victim, remains free with restrictive conditions. The case was adjourned to April 29th due to pending issues with the delivery of evidence to the defense.
