The President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, spent Monday evening in a tavern in Pangrati, enjoying a relaxed dinner with friends, away from strict protocol. His visit to Athens had initially sparked curiosity, as there had been no official announcement from the Cypriot Presidency. The visit was related to attending an event for the establishment and operation of the branch of the EKPA in Nicosia. The President is expected to return to Cyprus this afternoon, accompanied by the Deputy Government Spokesman and civil servants.
