Phytiris: Three Options for Annie to End the 'Serial'

Minister of Justice and Public Order, Kostas Phytiris, stated that Ioanna Fotiou (Annie) has three options to submit her deposition and evidence regarding her case, with the aim of ending the "serial" that has been created. These options are to travel to Cyprus for a deposition, to give a deposition abroad, or to send a complaint and evidence through her lawyer. The Minister clarified that the initiative belongs to Ioanna Fotiou herself, who, according to her claims, does not feel safe in Cyprus due to outstanding warrants. Regarding a deposition abroad, Mr. Phytiris stated that it is a common practice and a team can travel to take the deposition, after arrangement by the Legal Service and the Police. The third option is to send a written complaint with signatures and supporting evidence through her lawyer, which will be received transparently and forwarded to the authorities for investigation. The Minister clarified that he will not take a deposition himself, but a complaint and evidence. Mr. Phytiris emphasized that he receives complaints and forwards them to the prosecution authorities, while referring to the role of Annie's lawyer, he said that he will act as a trusted person and transmitter of the evidence. Finally, he stressed that the authenticity of the evidence to be submitted through a lawyer will be investigated.
