The Minister of Justice and Public Order, Kostas Fytiris, met with the President and members of the Stadium Licensing Authority, emphasizing that compliance with safety specifications is a basic requirement for the operation of sports facilities. Safety in sports venues is a non-negotiable priority for the state. During the meeting, the Authority informed the Minister about the procedures for issuing Safety Certificates for stadiums and closed halls, as well as the issues faced regarding infrastructure and safety systems.
