Gas Reserves in 'Pegasus' and 'Glaucus' Estimated at 6-9 Trillion Cubic Feet

New estimates indicate that the 'Pegasus' and 'Glaucos' gas reserves in the Cypriot EEZ contain a total of 6 to 9 trillion cubic feet of natural gas. This was reported during the meeting of the President of the Republic Nikos Christodoulides with ExxonMobil Vice President John Ardill at the Presidential Palace. President Christodoulides welcomed Mr. Ardill and emphasized the importance of ExxonMobil's activity in the Cypriot EEZ, describing it as a vote of confidence. He expressed the government's willingness to discuss other blocks with ExxonMobil. Mr. Ardill expressed his satisfaction with the company's successful activity in Cyprus, particularly at 'Pegasus', and stated his desire to continue with the same momentum. The goal is to commercialize and produce the natural gas as soon as possible. The meeting marks the progress of explorations and the prospect of exploiting the gas reserves in Cyprus, with ExxonMobil playing a central role.
