Autopsy Reveals Severity of Crash in 19-Year-Old Kristina’s Death

The autopsy on the body of 19-year-old Kristina Achilleos, who died in a traffic accident in Sotira, Famagusta, showed that the death was caused by multiple injuries to the body and vital organs as a result of the accident. The autopsy was performed by forensic doctors Angeliki Papetta and Orthodoxos Orthodoxou. The traffic accident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday when a car driven by a 19-year-old, with three other 19-year-old passengers, veered off course and crashed into a concrete retaining wall of a tank. Kristina Achilleos, who was sitting in the back seat, was wearing a seatbelt, but sustained severe injuries and died in hospital. Another 19-year-old who was sitting in the back seat was seriously injured and is being treated at the General Hospital of Nicosia. The driver and front passenger were also injured and were taken to the hospitals of Famagusta and Larnaca. According to the Police, the driver underwent an alcohol and drug test with negative results. The Police are continuing their investigation into the cause of the accident. The four young people were friends, but their outing ended in tragedy. The traffic accident has caused shock to the local community.
