Turkey Condemns Iranian Missile Launch into its Airspace

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a phone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi, expressing Turkey's strong protest over the violation of Turkish airspace by a missile launched from Iran. Fidan emphasized that Ankara will take all necessary measures to protect itself. Araghchi responded that the missiles did not originate from Iran and an investigation will be conducted. The Turkish Ministry of National Defense announced that the missile was neutralized by NATO air defense systems, with parts falling in uninhabited areas. Turkey emphasizes the importance of good neighborly relations, but warns that it will react decisively to any threat.
