Epstein Estate: Settlement Agreement Proposed for Victims

The executors of Jeffrey Epstein's estate have proposed a settlement agreement of at least $25 million, potentially reaching $35 million depending on the number of victims participating in the class-action lawsuit. The agreement, which does not include an admission of guilt from Darren Indyke and Richard Kahn, former associates of Epstein, must be approved by a federal judge in New York. The terms of the agreement stipulate that the estate will pay $25 million if fewer than 40 victims participate and $35 million if more than 40 do. Beneficiaries will be required to waive any further legal claims. Indyke and Kahn had been accused of facilitating Epstein's illegal behavior for personal financial gain. However, their lawyers assure that neither has ever been accused of sexual assault or knowledge of such acts. Epstein's estate was estimated at around $600 million, but has been reduced due to previous settlements. The proposed agreement marks a significant step towards compensating the victims of Epstein's crimes.
