Epstein Case: Hillary Clinton to Testify Before Congress Today

Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is scheduled to testify before Congress today regarding the case of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. She will testify under oath before her husband, former President Bill Clinton, who is scheduled to testify tomorrow, Friday. The testimonies will not take place in Congress but via video conference and will be behind closed doors, meaning it is unclear how much information will be made public. The Clintons had refused for months to testify in the investigation. Democrats accuse the Republican chairman of the House Oversight Committee, James Comer, of conducting a politically motivated process. The Clintons’ agreement to testify led Republicans to cancel a vote to begin contempt of Congress proceedings against them. Jeffrey Epstein maintained an abuse network and had excellent connections in the high society of the United States. He died in jail in 2019 while facing charges.
