Investigations Underway into Turkish Cypriot Property Service Cases in Paphos

The Ministry of Interior is conducting an investigation into cases related to the Turkish Cypriot Property Service in Paphos, following reports of potential omissions and distortions in management. A team from the Ministry collected case files from the Service and transported them to Nicosia for review. The investigations focus on complaints that have increased since the suspension of Paphos Mayor Phaedon Phaedonos, who is also under investigation for other matters. The Ministry is examining credible evidence suggesting potential irregularities in management that began in the early years after the Turkish invasion. Meanwhile, the Audit Office is awaiting the completion of the investigations to evaluate the complaints and make announcements if findings emerge.
