Makarios Drousiotis to Run with Volt in Nicosia

Journalist Makarios Drousiotis will be a candidate for Parliament with the Volt party in the Nicosia constituency. The agreement was reached this morning at the party offices, with co-chair Andromachi Sofocleous and MP Alexandra Attalidou already announced as candidates. The completion of the ballot is expected next week with the party’s online conference. In addition to Drousiotis, co-chair Andromachi Sofocleous and MP Alexandra Attalidou are also expected to be candidates in Nicosia. For Limassol, Panos Loizou Paras is a candidate, while Penelope Vaskes Chatziyra’s candidacy is also expected. In Larnaca the names of Michalis Kalopaidis and Pieros Karoullas are heard, while for Famagusta the names of Petros Dia and in Paphos of Yannis Agrotis. The Volt party is opening offices in Nicosia, which will serve as the election headquarters in the run-up to the parliamentary elections. The opening of the offices marks the dynamic entry of the party into the final stretch towards the May elections. The party aims to enter Parliament with a complete team of candidates, representative of the citizens.
