Russian President Vladimir Putin met with US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff in Moscow for over three and a half hours, aiming to advance negotiations to end the war in Ukraine. Jared Kushner, Trump's son-in-law, and advisors from both sides also participated in the meeting. Following the talks, a trilateral summit between Russia, Ukraine, and the US was announced to be held in the United Arab Emirates, with the first meeting of the security working group scheduled for Abu Dhabi. Both sides described the meeting as 'useful'.
