Trump Unveils 'New Gaza' Plan for Luxury Development

Donald Trump has presented an ambitious plan to rebuild Gaza, envisioning a "New Gaza" with luxury skyscrapers along the beach. The plan, unveiled at the World Economic Forum in Davos, proposes completing the project within three years. The proposal comes at a critical time, following the devastating war in Gaza triggered by the Hamas attack on Israel. The humanitarian crisis in Gaza remains severe, despite the ceasefire brokered by the United States. Trump, describing himself as a “natural real estate developer,” argued that Gaza has enormous development potential due to its prime location by the sea. His son-in-law, Jared Kushner, labeled the plan “genius” and predicted “tremendous success.” The plan requires $25 billion in investment to rebuild infrastructure and public services. Kushner estimated that within 10 years, Gaza’s GDP could reach $10 billion, with a per-household income of $13,000, through full employment. The success of the plan, according to Kushner, hinges on the complete disarmament of Hamas.
