Tragedy in Lakatamia: Worker Dies After Fall from Construction Site, Chaotic Transfer to Hospital

A worker of Arab origin died in a work accident at a construction site in Lakatamia after falling from a great height. The Cyprus Police, the Department of Labour Inspection and the Ambulance Service were immediately mobilized. Fellow nationals attempted to transport him to the hospital in a private vehicle, but the ambulance intercepted them outside Makarios Hospital.
