Pakistan Strikes 'Terrorist Camps' on Afghan Border – Taliban Report Dozens of Casualties

Pakistan announced today that it struck 'seven terrorist camps' on its border with Afghanistan, in retaliation for suicide attacks on its soil allegedly supported by Kabul. Pakistani military officials stated that the strikes targeted seven camps and hideouts of terrorists, based on intelligence. The Taliban reported that the airstrikes caused dozens of deaths and injuries, mainly civilians, in the provinces of Nangarhar and Paktika. Relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan have deteriorated since the Taliban regained power in 2021, with Pakistan accusing Kabul of harboring terrorist groups. Kabul denies the accusations.
