Η Land Rover Classic, το επίσημο τμήμα της μάρκας για την αποκατάσταση και εξατομίκευση του θρυλικού Defender, ανακοίνωσε μια νέα δυνατότητα που απευθύνεται στους πιο απαιτητικούς συλλέκτες. Πλέον μπορεί να δημιουργήσει ένα Classic Defender V8 σε οποιονδήποτε χρωματικό και εσωτερικό συνδυασμό που αντιστοιχεί στο σύγχρονο Defender OCTA, το κορυφαίο και πιο ακραίο μοντέλο επιδόσεων της σύγχρονης οικογένειας Defender. Με αυτό τον τρόπο, η μάρκα επιβεβαιώνει ότι η κληρονομιά του Defender μπορεί να συνδυαστεί με την πιο σύγχρονη πολυτέλεια και εξατομίκευση.
Η νέα αυτή επιλογή αφορά τα Classic Defender V8 σε εκδόσεις 90 ή 110 Station Wagon, καθώς και το ιδιαίτερα δημοφιλές 90 Soft Top. Με έμπνευση από το OCTA, προστίθενται πέντε νέες εξωτερικές αποχρώσεις στο πρόγραμμα εξατομίκευσης ενώ η διαδικασία βαφής αποτελεί από μόνη της ένα έργο τέχνης. Κάθε Classic Defender V8 περνά περίπου 300 ώρες στο βαφείο, με σχολαστική προετοιμασία, ακριβή αντιστοίχιση χρώματος και τελικό γυάλισμα. Όλες οι αποχρώσεις διατίθενται είτε σε γυαλιστερό φινίρισμα είτε σε ειδικά εξελιγμένο σατινέ, ώστε να ταιριάζει με το προαιρετικό Matte Protective Film του Defender OCTA.
Για πρώτη φορά, η Land Rover Classic προσφέρει και νέες επιλογές εσωτερικού εμπνευσμένες από το OCTA. Ανάμεσά τους ξεχωρίζουν τα ελαφριά Ultrafabrics™ PU σε αποχρώσεις Khaki Green, Light Cloud και Lunar, καθώς και η semi-aniline δερμάτινη επένδυση Burnt Sienna. Για όσους προτιμούν πιο σκοτεινή αισθητική, διατίθεται και Ebony leather, όπως στο OCTA Black. Οι πελάτες μπορούν να επιλέξουν χειροποίητα θερμαινόμενα καθίσματα Recaro και να συνεργαστούν με την ομάδα σχεδιασμού της Land Rover Classic ώστε να αναπαραχθούν πιστά οι χρωματικές λεπτομέρειες στο τιμόνι, το ταμπλό και τις επενδύσεις. Επιπλέον, νέες επιλογές εξοπλισμού περιλαμβάνουν γυαλιστερή μαύρη μάσκα εμπνευσμένη από το OCTA, καθώς και επιγραφές στο καπό από chopped carbon fibre.
Κάθε Classic Defender V8 κατασκευάζεται κατά παραγγελία, βασισμένο σε όχημα/δότη χρονολογίας από το 2012 έως το 2016, πλήρως αποκατεστημένο και αναβαθμισμένο με τον V8 των 5.0 λίτρων και 405 ίππων. Όλα τα μοντέλα διαθέτουν αυτόματο κιβώτιο ZF 8 σχέσεων, sport mode, ειδική ανάρτηση, αναβαθμισμένο σύστημα διεύθυνσης και ισχυρότερα φρένα. Μαζί και με επιλογές όπως αναβαθμισμένο infotainment, crystal lighting pack, πέντε σχέδια ζαντών σε 11 φινιρίσματα και adventure αξεσουάρ, και πολλά άλλα.
Classic Defender Can Combine Modern Luxury and Customization
Land Rover Classic, the brand’s official division for the restoration and customization of the iconic Defender, has announced a new option aimed at the most demanding collectors. It can now create a Classic Defender V8 in any color and interior combination that corresponds to the modern Defender OCTA, the top and most extreme performance model in the contemporary Defender family. In this way, the brand confirms that the Defender’s heritage can be combined with the most modern luxury and customization. The new option applies to Classic Defender V8 models in 90 or 110 Station Wagon versions, as well as the particularly popular 90 Soft Top. Inspired by the OCTA, five new exterior shades are added to the customization program, while the painting process is a work of art in itself. Each Classic Defender V8 spends approximately 300 hours in the paint shop, with meticulous preparation, accurate color matching, and final polishing. All shades are available in either glossy or specially developed satin finish, to match the optional Matte Protective Film of the Defender OCTA. For the first time, Land Rover Classic also offers new interior options inspired by the OCTA. These include lightweight Ultrafabrics™ PU in shades of Khaki Green, Light Cloud and Lunar, as well as semi-aniline Burnt Sienna leather upholstery. For those who prefer a darker aesthetic, Ebony leather is also available, as in the OCTA Black. Customers can select handmade heated Recaro seats and work with the Land Rover Classic design team to faithfully reproduce color details on the steering wheel, dashboard, and trim. Additional new equipment options include glossy black grilles inspired by the OCTA, as well as hood badges made of chopped carbon fiber. Each Classic Defender V8 is made to order, based on a donor vehicle dating from 2012 to 2016, fully restored and upgraded with the 5.0-liter 405hp V8. All models feature a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission, sport mode, special suspension, upgraded steering and more powerful brakes. Along with options such as upgraded infotainment, crystal lighting pack, five wheel designs in 11 finishes and adventure accessories, and many more.
