Iran Responds to Trump: 'Unconditional Surrender is a Dream You'll Take to Your Grave'

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian responded to the United States' demands for unconditional surrender, stating that his country will not yield and will continue to resist. He described the US demand as “a dream they will take to their grave” and called on Iranians to unite to defend their homeland. The Iranian president's statement comes in response to comments from Donald Trump, who had said there would be no deal with Iran except for unconditional surrender. Pezeshkian also emphasized that Tehran has no intention of attacking neighboring countries, but will respond to any attack against it. At the same time, the Iranian president apologized to neighboring countries for any damage caused by recent strikes and called on countries in the region not to become “tools” of Israel or the United States, but to seek solutions through diplomacy. Pezeshkian's statement was broadcast after a series of attacks in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, during a period of heightened tension in the region.
