InPeace Project to Hold First Information Meeting

The bi-communal research project InPeace, funded by the European Union and implemented by ICLAIM and the Human Rights Platform, is holding its first information meeting on January 29, 2026, in Nicosia. The three-year project focuses on bi-communal technical committees, which work to address issues affecting the daily lives of Cypriots, promoting cooperation and understanding between the two communities. A key finding of InPeace is the limited awareness among Cypriots regarding the activities of the Technical Committees, despite their significant and effective work. To address this gap, the meeting is aimed at opinion leaders, with the goal of wider dissemination of information about the work of the Committees. The meeting will be held in Greek and coordinated by Dr. Nasia Hadjigeorgiou. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss the activities, work, and challenges faced by the Technical Committees. InPeace seeks to strengthen the role of the Technical Committees in promoting cooperation, trust, and sustainable peace in Cyprus, leveraging experience and best practices from other regions.
