Supreme Court Refers Police Shift Schedule Dispute to Administrative Court

The PASYDY Police Union has filed an application with the Supreme Court to overturn the Chief of Police's decision regarding the new work schedule (11-hour shifts instead of 12-hour shifts in a two-day cycle). The Supreme Court, after a hearing, ruled that the matter should potentially be examined by the Administrative Court, based on Article 146.6 of the Constitution. The union considers the Chief's decision unprecedented and a one-time event, as it was taken unilaterally without consultation. PASYDY is now considering an appeal or filing a lawsuit with the Administrative Court requesting interim orders. It assures its members that it will take all necessary legal action to protect their rights.
