Samuel Eto'o, president of the Cameroonian Football Federation, has been banned for four matches and fined $20,000 by CAF for 'unsportsmanlike conduct' during Cameroon's match against Morocco at the Africa Cup of Nations. The sanction followed television footage showing Eto'o making gestures towards the president of the Moroccan federation. Fecafoot reacted strongly, questioning the sufficient justification for the decision and fully supporting Eto'o. CAF had previously announced it was investigating 'unacceptable behaviour' in the quarter-finals of the tournament. Morocco defeated Cameroon 2-0 and advanced to the final, where they will face Senegal.
