Autopsy Reveals Severity of Crash That Killed 19-Year-Old

The autopsy revealed that 19-year-old Kristina Achilleos died from multiple bodily injuries and damage to vital organs as a result of a traffic accident. The examination was conducted by forensic doctors Angeliki Papetta and Orthodoxos Orthodoxou. The accident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday on Agias Theklas Avenue in Sotira, when a car driven by a 19-year-old collided with a concrete retaining wall. In addition to Kristina Achilleos, the car was carrying a 19-year-old passenger and two other 19-year-old passengers. The driver and passenger were injured and transported to the hospitals in Famagusta and Larnaca for further examinations. The other 19-year-old passenger was taken to Nicosia General Hospital due to the severity of her injuries, however, her condition is considered stable and she is expected to be transferred to a general ward. Police reported that all passengers were wearing seatbelts and alcohol and drug tests on the driver were negative. The Famagusta Traffic Police continue investigations into the circumstances of the accident.
