Greek PAOK Fans Fatal Bus Crash: Identification Complete, Repatriation Planned

Authorities in Romania have completed the identification of the seven PAOK football club fans who lost their lives in a tragic bus crash. The issuance of necessary documents from the Romanian authorities is expected, in order to repatriate the bodies to Greece by aircraft. Regarding the three injured individuals, two are fit to travel, while the third, with more severe injuries, will require surgery, which may take place either in Romania or Greece. A C-130 aircraft is on standby in Elefsina to transport the injured, if needed. Doctors describe the condition of the injured as stable and optimistic, with the Greek Ambassador to Romania stating that they do not require blood transfusions. The embassy is cooperating with Romanian authorities for the repatriation of the deceased, while their names will not be made public until the identification process is complete.
