Regular Erhurman-Ustel Contacts and Scenarios of Early 'Elections' in the Occupied Territories

The leader of the Turkish Cypriots, Tufan Erhurman, met with the 'Prime Minister' Unal Ustel as part of regular meetings scheduled every 15 days. In the occupied territories, the possibility of early 'parliamentary elections' is being discussed after the 'presidential elections'. The president of the Republican Turkish Party (RTK), Sila Usar Incirli, states that 2026 will be a year of change and solution, while the president of the Communal Liberation Party, Zeki Tceler, considers early elections imperative. There is criticism of the 'government' for clinging to 'seats' and the absence of the CDP from the 'parliament'. Additionally, concerns are being expressed about collaborations with Israel and the potential danger to the island.
