The Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy presented its 2025 report and 2026 plans, focusing on accelerating the digitization of the state and improving citizen and business services. In 2025, 75 new digital services were developed, with significant usage in areas such as identity card issuance, student grants, military affairs, and compensation from the National Solidarity Fund. Alongside this, new integrated systems such as the Electronic Governance and Education System (eΔΕΑ), the Integrated Postal Services System, and the Customs System were implemented with positive results. The 'Tax For All' tax system and the 'Hippodamus' licensing system were also upgraded, with an increase in the issuance of licenses. For 2026, the availability of over 100 new services and the completion of critical information systems are planned. eΔΕΑ will be expanded with new features, and new systems such as the Department of Road Transport System will be implemented. The Deputy Minister described 2025 as a milestone year for digital transition, while 2026 marks the transition to an upgraded technological infrastructure for the public sector, aiming for more efficient citizen service and increased transparency.
