Meetings in UAE to Strengthen Cooperation in Energy, Technology, and Climate Resilience

A four-member ministerial delegation completed its working visit to the United Arab Emirates, aiming to strengthen cooperation in areas such as energy, technology, and climate resilience. The delegation, led by Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos, also included the Ministers of Energy, Agriculture, and the Deputy Minister of Research and Innovation. During the visit, meetings were held at political and technical levels with UAE counterparts. Discussions covered economic and trade cooperation, investment, desalination, water resource management, and the exchange of expertise in innovative and sustainable technological solutions for climate change. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed to establish a Comprehensive Energy Cooperation Strategy, setting a long-term framework for collaboration in the energy sector. The meetings also included discussions on developments in Gaza and Ukraine, as well as regional security.
