An outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease in a cattle farm in Livadia, Larnaca, has been confirmed by the Veterinary Services. The animals will be culled and the area around the farm has been quarantined within a three-kilometer radius, with a ban on the movement of livestock and livestock products. The Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, Maria Panagiotou, is participating in a meeting of the Veterinary Services to address the situation.
