Σύμφωνα με ανακοίνωση της Αστυνομίας θέματα στρατηγικής και τεχνολογικής ανάπτυξης των Αρχών Επιβολής του Νόμου συζήτησαν σε σημερινή τους συνάντηση ο κ. Θεμιστός Αρναούτης Αρχηγός Αστυνομίας, ο Γενικός Συντονιστής του Ευρωπαϊκού Δικτύου Υπηρεσιών Τεχνολογίας Οργανισμών Επιβολής του Νόμου (ENLETS) κ. Patrick Padding και η Συντονίστρια των ομάδων εργασίας του Δικτύου κ. Martina Verdiesen.
Κατά τη συνάντηση συζητήθηκαν μεταξύ άλλων, θέματα στρατηγικής ανάπτυξης σε σχέση με τον τεχνολογικό και ψηφιακό μετασχηματισμό στο πλαίσιο επιβολής του Νόμου, η τεχνολογική υποστήριξη Επιχειρησιακών Κέντρων (C3), η πράσινη αστυνόμευση και ο ρόλος της Τεχνητής Νοημοσύνης στην καθημερινή λειτουργία των οργανισμών Επιβολής του Νόμου.
Η επίσκεψη των δύο ευρωπαίων αξιωματούχων στο Αρχηγείο Αστυνομίας, πραγματοποιήθηκε στο περιθώριο του Συνεδρίου των Εθνικών Αντιπροσώπων του Δικτύου ENLETS, που πραγματοποιείται στην Κύπρο.
Police Chief Meeting with ENLETS Core Gore Group Leader
The Chief of Police, Mr. Themistos Arnautis, met with the Core Gore Group Leader of the European Network of Law Enforcement Technology Services (ENLETS), Mr. Patrick Padding, and the Network’s task force coordinator, Ms. Martina Verdiesen. The meeting discussed issues related to the strategic and technological development of law enforcement agencies. The discussions focused on the technological and digital transformation of law enforcement services, the technological support of Operational Centers (C3), green policing, and the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the daily operation of law enforcement organizations. The visit of the ENLETS officials to Police Headquarters took place on the sidelines of the network’s National Representatives Conference, which is being held in Cyprus. The meeting marks the continued cooperation between the Cyprus Police and ENLETS to exchange best practices and enhance capabilities in the field of technology and law enforcement.
