Gang of 15-Year-Olds Planned Assassination of Erdogan - Arrested with Explosives

Two 15-year-olds have been arrested in Turkey with improvised explosive devices, while authorities are investigating information about a plot to assassinate President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and attack the Turkish parliament. According to the investigation, the minors are allegedly linked to a far-right nationalist organization called the “Turkish Movement,” which is also said to have planned an attack on a rally of the pro-Kurdish DEM party in Istanbul. An 18-year-old was also arrested for transporting explosives but was released under restrictive conditions. Investigations are ongoing in dozens of homes of members of the organization, while representatives of the organization deny any involvement in a serious attack plan.
