According to the Meteorological Department, today will see local showers, mainly in the western half of the island, with the possibility of isolated thunderstorms and snow in the mountains. Winds will be north-easterly to south-easterly, light to moderate, while the sea will be slightly rough. The temperature will reach 12 degrees Celsius inland, 15 degrees on the coast, and 3 degrees in the mountains, with local frost. Tonight, the weather will gradually improve, but local clouds will be observed. Winds will become northerly to north-easterly, light to moderate, with possible strengthening on the windward sides. The sea will remain slightly rough. The temperature will drop to 4 degrees Celsius inland, 7 degrees on the coast, and -2 degrees in the mountains, with frost in the mountains and foothills. Monday is expected to be partly cloudy with the possibility of local showers and light snowfall in the mountains. Tuesday will be mainly clear, while Wednesday will be cloudy from medium and high clouds. The temperature is not expected to change significantly and will remain below average climatic values. The snow depth at Troodos is currently 22 centimeters.
