Εργατικό ατύχημα σημειώθηκε γύρω στις 12 χθες το μεσημέρι, σε υπό ανέγερση οικοδομή στο Παραλίμνι.
Σύμφωνα με την Αστυνομία, κάτω από συνθήκες που διερευνώνται, δύο πρόσωπα ηλικίας 64 και 56 ετών, ενώ βρίσκονταν πάνω σε σκαλωσιά περίπου δύο μέτρων, αυτή υποχώρησε, με αποτέλεσμα να πέσουν στο έδαφος και να τραυματιστούν.
Και οι δύο μεταφέρθηκαν με ασθενοφόρο στο νοσοκομείο όπου οι ιατροί διαπίστωσαν ότι υπέστησαν κρανιοεγκεφαλική κάκωση και πολλαπλά κατάγματα.
Ο 64χρονος μεταφέρθηκε στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Λευκωσίας στο νευροχειρουργικό Τμήμα και ο 56χρονος κρατήθηκε για περαιτέρω νοσηλεία στην Εντατική Μονάδα του Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Αμμοχώστου. Η κατάσταση τους κρίνεται ως σοβαρή.
Την υπόθεση εξετάζει ο Αστυνομικός Σταθμός Παραλιμνίου.

Two Workers Hospitalized After Scaffolding Collapse in Paralimni
A work accident occurred in Paralimni at a construction site, resulting in serious injuries to two workers, aged 64 and 56.
