Armed Robbery Targets Food Delivery Driver in Nicosia

A food delivery driver in Nicosia experienced a terrifying robbery in Engomi the night before. Three unknown assailants, speaking Greek, approached him during a delivery at an apartment building and threatened him with knives, stealing €150 and two mobile phones. The incident occurred around 9:00 PM. The perpetrators were wearing hoods and, according to the driver's report, were speaking Greek, suggesting a possible connection to the local community. The delivery driver, fearing for his safety, complied with the robbers' demands and handed over the money and phones. The assailants then fled the scene. The Nicosia TAE (Serious Crime Unit) has taken over the investigation, collecting testimonies and seeking evidence to identify and arrest the perpetrators. Security cameras in the area will be reviewed to gather additional information.
