Cyprus to be Represented at UN Emergency Special Session on Ukraine

The Minister of Energy, Commerce and Industry, Michalis Damianou, will represent the Republic of Cyprus at the Emergency Special Session of the UN General Assembly on Ukraine, scheduled for Tuesday. The session is convened to mark four years since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Mr. Damianou departs for New York today and will attend a working lunch with the UK Minister for Europe, Stephen Doughty. He will also deliver a national statement at a UN Security Council session on Ukraine, convened by the UK Presidency.
