European University Cyprus to Establish Branch in Athens

The European University Cyprus (EUC) has officially submitted an application for a license to operate a branch in Athens, named “European University Cyprus – Athens Branch (EUC Athens)”. The new branch will be developed on a 50-acre site in Pallini, Attica, with the possibility of expansion to 100 acres. The EUC Athens will include modern amphitheaters, classrooms, research laboratories, simulation centers, a library, administrative services, and digital infrastructure. Initially, four schools will operate: Medicine, School of Life and Health Sciences, School of Business and Digital Technologies, and Law School. The university will collaborate with leading research and business organizations, such as the Athens Medical Group, for the clinical training of medical and health sciences students. The initial investment is expected to exceed 50 million euros, creating new jobs and boosting the local economy. The start of application submissions for admission will be announced after the completion of the licensing process by the National Authority for Higher Education (EΘ.Α.Α.Ε.) and the Cyprus Quality Assurance and Accreditation Agency (DIPAE). EUC Athens is based on the experience of the parent institution in Cyprus and its branch in Frankfurt, and belongs to the Galileo Global Education group, the largest university education group in Europe.
